FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH EXPLAINED
AT FEB. 11 HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEETING

SAUGATUCK, JAN. 30, 2009 -- Guidance for researching family histories will highlight the Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society meeting Wednesday, February 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the Old School House Discovery Center, 130 Center Street, Dougas. Admission is free and public attendance is invited.

The presentation is intended for both the beginner and the accomplished family historian. Volunteers from the Society's Historical Archives Digital Lab (HADLab) will overview research tools available through the Society web site's "On-Line Research Center" and other internet family-history resources.

Volunteers will show how to access resources on computer, and meeting attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop computers along with any materials they have found in previous research.
