| SOLUTION: Excavation for the new and improved Center Street in Douglas uncovered this historical artifact. Mayor Matt Balmer (pictured) reported that it probably was at one time a heating fuel or gasoline storage tank. Who owned it and the age remains a mystery. It was quite sturdy and half full of water. |
