Margaret Sessions Clark, Mary Lea Bird Jones & Katherine house were classmates from 1927-1945.

The Birds ran the drug store in the Heath building and the Session ran the IGA. Katherine House was a niece of Dr. House.

There were 13 students in their class, but only 6 went straight through to finish high school..

They talked about Dr. Walker, school plays in the early 30’s, Mrs. Heath & Dr. Heath and how they saved the big oak (Charter Oak) on Holland St. and how she was a role model for young women in the area.
